FAQs
Why does an egg share break down to $4/doz and they cost $3.50 if you don't have an egg share?

People can come to the cooler in front of our house to buy eggs at any time for $3.50 year round, however, during the harvest season, we sell our of eggs almost on a daily basis. When you purchase an egg share, you become a priority egg customer and I will reserve your dozen or half dozen every week on the day you sign up for. If you do not have an egg share it's first to come first served. So the 50 cents is basically a convenience charge.

Why aren't you offering a "full" share this year?

We aren't offering a full share because so few people chose a full share for their families the past three years. Crop planning and share preparation will be simplified by offering only one size share. Also, people are always saying that we give more vegetables than any other CSA in reference to just the "half" size. A full share was just enormous and almost everyone split them among two families.

Can I work for my share, or for part of my share?

Absolutely!!! We are always in need of help, especially from people who really enjoy gardening and want to be involved. I would be more than happy to chat about what you would be interested in doing. I would prefer the help earlier in the season when planting and weeding collide but it can be stretched out over the season as well.
